Reaction Blog. First off I want to say that I have really liked and enjoyed this class. I learned more than I thought I would. Secondly, in the last couple of weeks you may think that I have not been participating as much as I could. I know that this is not an exuse but I have been having alot of stress and dealing with some major drama. I realize that everyone has stress and drama but it has hit me really hard. So sorry. Anyway reading the last couple of chapters was good. For one it meant I had read the whole book! yea for me. An accomplishment for me. I liked when we were talking about the politics and cyberspace. When you said that you didn't want to really know peoples political views you were funny because you knew people were gonna start with the Obama stuff. No problem love Obama. But it was still funny to hear people want to get off subject and just talk about Obama. Ithink I am gonna start following that Dooced blog. I want to find out more about her and some of the old stuff she wrote. Ilike the idea of a blog. I am gonna try to keep mine up. Dedicate more time to it. It is sorta like writing in your diary. But very carefully. Thank your wife for coming in. She was really informative and I learned something from her. The https stuff. Very helpful. How'd you get so lucky? She's so smart. I am gonna spend this week studying CMC and trying to get my "stuff" together. Thanks for being a great instructor. I really did learn from you (and your wife) I may even attempt to make the utube video. Maybe. Well thats all from me today. Stacey Kerr

Reaction blog to ch13,14,15 and twitter exercise. I liked what I learned in these chapters. It was something I could understand for once! Well most of it anyway. Reading about all the privacy rights were eye opening. I think that is one reason I am so weird about putting any information on line about myself. I always think that someone could get it without my consent. I know I am always getting emails that I didn't sign up for so it is not so far fetched to me for people toget my personal info. The chapter on politics and cyberspace was interesting. The idea that regular people can express their opinion about politics is great. Not having to conform to the mass media is a way to communicate and not have to argue face to face with anyone about your opinion. The futuristic way that the internet describes very different scenarios. I dont know if I could ever get on board with the way that technology is going. Talking about different tribes and being seperated is kinda scary to me. But on the other hand the twitter exersice we did in class was not that scary. I enjoyed getting on and finding different classmates. It is fun to see what everyone is doing and to see how differnt everyone is. I enjoyed it alot and I am still twittering with my classmates.
